Actually.....a really good Apple announcement occurred on an April 1st 
-- on April 1, 1976, Apple was founded (yes, Apple will be 30 next 
year...)

So it wouldn't be at all inappropriate for Apple to announce things on 
that day.

The question is, of course, whether or not anyone will BELIEVE them.

Especially since Mac web sites have a history of product April Fool's 
jokes.  So don't get TOO excited!  Read the fine print.
