Hey, I'll jump in...

A few places are really starting to believe we'll see Tiger in April, 
so that would be huge. I think Thinksecret mentioned today that they 
believed that the Tiger release might coincide with a rev of the iMac 
and a new G5 eMac.

I, personally, am praying for something interesting on the PowerMac 
front. The rumor consensus on this seems to be that we will get little 
more than a speed bump, but a few places have been rumbling about the 
possibility of using the as-yet-unannounced 970MX chip from IBM. This 
would be huge, since that M in there stands for multi-core. This would 
basically be a chip that had 2 processors on it. Drop 2 of those in the 
PowerMac G5, and you're looking at a quad-core system! Some of Apple's 
development tools are already showing options for 4 processors. I 
figure we'll know something at WWDC this summer.

Lots of people are also talking about a tiny $30 plug from apple that 
will let your iPod Photo connect to your digital camera and download 
its contents while on the go. You can do the same thing now for $100 
with a Belkin product.

One last thing that was interesting to me from the rumor mill: The mini 
apparently has a connector on the inside that looks like it was 
designed to allow an iPod dock to be integrated into the product.

What do you guys think of these? Gunna happen? Worth buying? The 
"Right" direction for apple?
