ordered a new imac g5 20" (apple store on-line) a few weeks ago, just 
as the upgrades were announced

it was doa

apple replaced it without hassle

the replacement was doa

replacement, no hassle - if going over everything with a tech on the 
phone for ninety minutes isn't a hassle.

third machine is on its way.

with 10% of the cost of the whole order credited to my account for the 
trouble.

too bad apple moved to china from the usa and ireland.
hope they enjoy the cheaper labor as they replace defective machines.
stupid 'globalization'...

2 i'm getting very good at repacking boxes
