[DM-MUG] Q ref. how to run something when there is no Classic installation

I have only OSX on my Cube and no classic apps or anything - but I 
need to update my modem and only a classic app. will do it...how can 
I do it???  I really don't want OS9 on this machine - I could install 
it only for this purpose I suppose and then wipe it off....any ideas?
