[DM-MUG] Computer use and ergonomics....mouses? [mice?]

Have you considered using a trackball instead of a mouse? It doesn't move
around on the table (no mouse pad required), and you don't have to grip it,
just move the ball and click with the appropriate finger. I love mine so
much I bought three (one for each laptop and one on the KVM switch between
my 6500 and my -eek!- PC).

As with any product, you can spend as much as you want on a trackball, but
Logitech makes a good USB optical model for about $20 at CompUSEless. No
drivers required in OS 9 or X -- will need drivers for Windoze 98-2000-ME-XP
(CD included). It even has a PS/2 adapter for the older, non-USB Wintels.

Here's a link to the one I'm using on the Logitech site:

Hope this helps.

Peace,
CW
