CD-RWs are slightly thicker than CDs and CD-Rs (you'd never notice with the
naked eye). This requires the laser to focus differently for RWs.
Some audio CD players, CD-ROM drives, and CD-R drives (especially older
ones) are not calibrated to focus CD-RWs. This may explain why CD-RWs that
read just fine on some machines, may not read others, or in your car CD
player, or your Walkman, etc.
Try using a CD-R instead of the RW.
