You're welcome.  Wish we had a better answer for you (believe me!)

Do remember that Remote Desktop Connection for Macintosh is FREE for 
download from the Microsoft web site.  I use it regularly, and it's 
pretty good (can't complain for the price!)

You do also have to have a version of Windows that supports turning on 
Remote Desktop Connection or Terminal Services support on the PC you're 
running the Access application on.  (Depending on how many people you 
want to connect at one time, this part MAY cost you money.  Your 
Windows system administrator will need to tell you if you already have 
what is necesary or not.)

There is also an open-source PC emulator called Bochs, as I recall.  
Cheaper (but probably not as good/fast) as VPC.
