That won't really do it; you could convert the data tables, but not the 
data entry form, reports, queries, and Visual Basic for Applications 
program code, and if they are using an Access-based third-party 
product, then it certainly does involve entry forms and VBA code (or a 
standalone Windows program that reads Access .mdb data files)

There really is no solution for converting or running Access databases 
like this on a Mac except using Virtual PC, Guest PC to run PC software 
on your Mac, or by using the free Remote Desktop Connection for Mac to 
connect to a physical PC.

If the database in question uses JUST the data tables, however, then it 
could probably be converted to a cross-platform database such as 
FileMaker without much difficulty or time.

(I program Microsoft Access databases and Visual BASIC programs for a 
living, by the way.)
