One more, slightly different Canon note...

I had a Canon XL1s dv camera a few years back, had bought it brand new, 
and had a tape transport issue.  I sent it back to Canon's repair 
department, and had it back literally two days later, no charge.  
Granted it was still under the original warranty, but still, two days 
is a great turnaround.
