the funny thing about this is that I used to video conference, albeit
roughly, with the old version of AIM which allowed macs, and not PC's
to do so on OS 9.2 over a 33k baud or better modem connection. My
brother, who I video conferenced with most often, was on a 56k modem
but I live out in the country and was limited in bandwidth to 33,
usually 26k. wondering how all that was accomplished! AOL came out
with the upgrades thereafter and suddenly you couldn't conference
anymore on macs, only on pc's! Luckily I kept a copy of my old AIM
before upgrading and was able to continue through the 1-2 years that
followed which blocked macs out from video conferencing.
