you shouldn't have any problems since Apple/Mac has a strong presence 
in the creative world = go to their website/store and see the brands 
there and you'll see what Apple at least thinks works well but really 
any camera will work...the Q is to put the pics into the 
computer...you'll either need direct connection [uSB is pretty 
standard] or a card reader which is fairly inexpensive and portable 
and can take more than one type of connection plus not wear out the 
camera batteries...
