[DM-MUG] Digital Camera Compatibility

Check the box.  If it's Mac compatible it should say so somewhere on  
the box or in the specs.  Check to see if it says MacOS X compatible  
too.  If it doesn't say Mac and Mac OS X compatible, search the web  
site of the vendor if you really want that model.  If it doesn't say  
Mac compatible, don't buy it.

If it has a memory card, it's more likely you can at least pop the  
card out of the unit and into a card reader on your Mac (you'll have  
to buy a reader or adapter too).   Also, if you don't want to go the  
card reader route, make sure that camera supports USB on the Mac for  
image transfer.
