[DM-MUG] Digital Camera Compatibility

First, thanks for the answers about upgrading from Jaguar to Tiger.   It was 
very helpful information.   

I have another question.   We are looking for a digital camera for our 
college age son.   He doesn't care much about zoom.   We think we have a good grasp 
on the megapixels.   My question is this:   are there any digital cameras that 
will not be compatible with his iBook?   Are there any we should not 
consider?   We want to stay under $200, preferably under $150 or thereabouts.   He can 
buy a more expensive one when he's out of school.   When I ask sales people 
about Mac compatibility no one seems to know much..... if anything.
