[DM-MUG] MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2 issue

I bought this with the ergonomic MS keyboard and like them both and 
they both work well other than the Right click button on the Mouse no 
longer works.  I have downloaded and reinstalled 3x the software for 
the mouse but it still isn't recognized...the L button works fine but 
I like the alternative to be there too...for the price of calling or 
emailing MS for support [$35] I can probably replace the mouse...but 
do I need to?  and if I do, can I just buy any old same-type Mouse 
and it'll work with the wireless frequency that now works fine with 
the keyboard???
