[DM-MUG] iMac G5 Superdrive Upgrade

iLife '05 also added a feature that lets you "burn" an image instead of
a DVD which you can then burn multiple times, use third party burners,
store on a backup drive, etc. I just about don't (or at least haven't)
worked any other way since that came out. Real time saver (for me). I
think it also added direct support to non-Apple drives, but not sure on
that one - in any case burning to an image may be worth the price of
iLife '05 for you - it's also a LOT faster to work w/. and has a much
better feedback system when burning. It actually shows what stage you
are in and thumbnails of the video as it's encoded. There's other great
stuff in all the new iLife apps as well, and I'd say it's been the best
performance boost I've seen in these apps in a while.
