[DM-MUG] Appleworks abruptly quitting? HELP!!!

I created new user
took the document i was working with and saved via shared folder to
the new user area - it opens up just fine in AWKS and can be worked
with there
I then saved the document back to main User and tried to work with it
there=== I could do backing up [delete key] fine but whenever I tried
to type a letter it quit the program totally
in the new user it does not quit the program and I can, so far, work
on the document
it's the same document = one is original and one is dup/copy

any ideas...for today when I need to work on this document it's okay
but I really need AWKS to function fine in the main user area

any ideas???
