Yes, that would be your best bet. I am often amazed at what shaking a
toner cartridge can do. ;)
If she goes weeks between print jobs, with a bubblejet printer you risk
permanent clogging of the heads (beyond what even super cleaning can
cure). Replacement of the heads are usually nearly as costly as a new
printer. I'd go with the low cost laser in this scenario.
