This angers me alot....If they had to move to WIN fine, but not kill
Mac opportunities. Keep the darned grading program on Dells...but if
you or anyone else wants to use a Mac on the network, fine. Should
not be a problem.
They'd have to pull my Mac from my cold, dead fingers before I'd let
them have it. Hang in there.
>i have two computers at work. on a network that's moving to all-windows.
>macs are not allowed to move beyond 8.6.
>i still find my g3 233 desktop faster, easier, and more reliable
>than the dell i've been given with xp
>for office apps, outlook, and the system-wide grading program we use
>in the dsm schools.
>the dell is required for the new access-based student referral
>system for sending kids to the vice-principal.
>i think it's because i use a mac that i never need to make referrals
>- my computer doesn't make me frazzled. i can deal with kids.
>one of these years, they'll take away my mac.
>then i'll replace my home mac and take my old one to work. they
>won't allow me to access their network, but i'll still have a better
>machine for Office apps.
