If you do indeed have the Syquest drive, you might also consider buying 
yourself an old Mac with SCSI and Ethernet. You might have trouble finding 
Syquest drivers for a modern Mac. I'll bet you can buy a Quadra on EBay for $50 
or less (though I haven't checked). 

And when you've finished copying from your Syquest cartridges, you'll have a 
fancy doorstop!
