I have a Q that may be rather stupid, but here goes == Qwest's 
website says there is no DSL available for my phone number yet no 
such limitations appear available for other providers who may well 
piggyback on Qwest.

I now use Mediacom but it is not cheap ($45) and I would like to find 
a fast but less expensive solution.  So, if QWest can't connect me, 
do I find some other DSL provider who can and will or just stick with 
Mediacom (which has been fine for 2-3 yrs....)??

[I do not really need/want the ISP or hosting - all I want is fast 
access to the web, period.  I have other email and hosting 
provided...so it's a solely hardware need]
