You have all been really helpful! I never wanted this to be a Mac s PC, but
no matter what we did, it turned out that way. I like the Mac because the kids
can accomplish things. It works best for y needs. Only, when it was
successful, they tried to tell me it didn't belong in a classroom! My school is very
supportive and many of us are seeing the total integration that has occurred
naturally. I just inherited a projector, as one our teachers retired, but it was
so easy to hook to a TV! Nothing else has been this easy so that I could use a
computer in the classroom. I know the downtowns are upset because it is
working, but several school board members and the supt came to the film festival,
which was marvelous! The kids ran the show. It was a little like an AA
meeting. They would come out on stage and say, "My name is Bob, and I'm a Video
Voyager. I used to get bad grades, but not I'm interested in school, and I do my
homework." I think they had such a good experience with the movies, that they
felt really good about themselves.
I've been asked to share this program with the School Board sometime this
summer, and since I am totally unaware of the technology part, I can probably use
your help in having my information ready. I don't want to take away PCs, I
just want to do this program because we saw it make such a difference for so
many kids.

I have been very honest about not going online with the Macs, because I don't
want anyone to be upset. There is no winning in the Mac PC war. I told them I
just want to live together in harmony!
