If you connect to the network, yes they can tell, if they want to know. I
would imagine though, if they are using Active Directory, and have thing
battened down tight, there may be little you can do. What exactly do you
need? Are there files on the Windows servers you need access to, the email
system, internet access, or printers? It all depends on what you want to
accomplish. Sure you could turn on DHCP and share files between Macs, but
you could do this anyway. If there are files you need access to on their
servers, that=B9s another story. If I were you, I would not do too much
covertly, as if you piss them off, you may end up with no Macs. It=B9s better
to be upfront, explain dispassionately what you need and demonstrate a
business need and persuade them that way and get what you need. This may no=
t
be what you want to here, but it=B9s the best advice you=B9ll get.
