[DM-MUG] Blind Carbon Copy

Hello all,

I just found a nifty little feature in the latest version of Mail that
I thought I would pass along to the group. The Bcc field now sticks on
when you select it from the View menu. You don't have to go up there
every freaking time to show the field.

If you don't know what the Bcc field ('blind carbon copy') field is for
or why you'd need to use it, consider the following scenario: If I want
to send a message to Alice, Bob, and Charlie I could just put all of
their email addresses in the To: field and they'd all get the message.
I could also put one of their addresses in the To: field and the other
addresses in the Cc: field (which is shown by default). Sometimes its
isn't that big a deal, but the impolite thing about this is that both
of these methods allow Alice, Bob, and Charlie to see each other's
email addresses. This means that Alice can misuse your friends'
addresses to sign them up for gay porn spam or whatever.

Instead, for sending to a few people, I like to send the message to
myself (i.e. I put my address in the To: field). The other poeple's
addresses go into the Bcc: field. This keeps everyones' info private.
