[DM-MUG] QuickTime, mp3s, & iTunes

If you know someone who knows how to write Applescript, you could have them create either a droplet or a watched folder where you could drop these files, where it would run a script to change the file extension from ".mpeg" to ".mp3". From what you said it sounds like they are encoded that way already and just need the right file extension.

They're tagged with ".mpeg". The Get Info window has the QT player as 
the default app to open them. Any of the mp3s that I've made with 
iTunes are tagged with ".mp3". Any clues to a more elegant solution 
than the one I've outlined below?
