there are different types of antennas == there's one that fits on the base
station but you have to drill a hole (which I don't want) = the other fits
on the outside of the TiBook and that seems more useful to me....I may try
that first, Jim and if it looks like the base station is the culprit, I'll
perhaps take you up on it = thanks.
