[DM-MUG] USB and Logitech TrackMan

I am surprised no one has a kensington trackball. I had one a couple of
years ago and gave it away. What happens to the settings that they reset?
Are the preferences actually being saved? Is the preferences file changed?
If rebooting creates a new blank prefs, you could probably backup a working
pref and create an applescript that puts a working copy back and put the
script in the startup items folder. I know it sounds rube goldberg, but it
could work. I am surprised that logitech couldn't help you. Time to get
level 2 on the phone.
