[DM-MUG] USB and Logitech TrackMan

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Logitech trackball for my 6500 
running 9.1 with USB on a PCI card. I have three issues with it at 
the moment. One is that if I start with extensions of or from a CD 
such as Disk Warrior the trackball will not work. The Logitech site 
says that the USB  Mouseware Extension must be loaded for it to work. 
Not happy :_( . Is this normal for a USB mouse? Second is that if I 
restart it will not retain the settings from the previous session. 
The third is that it is locking up constantly on a machine which 
hasn't locked up for months. The first problem cannot be cured with 
this mouse so I have to replace it or have a spare mouse to used in 
certain situations. I am thinking of replacing it with another ADB 
mouse. Any wisdom will be appreciated.
