It's not binary data, it's actually text. AOL treats the attachment like
it's a text file, even though it's binary. I have found when using Entourage
and Outlook Express, to encode the files for Windows/Base 64/MIME and it's
not a problem. Zipping or stuffing the files should work as well. If they
are using PCs, ZIP them, and if you use panther, you can control click on
the file and select "create archive" as Bailey said.
