Hey Martin,

I'm kinda assuming that you are using Apple's Mail program. If so, you
can get a little 'send windows friendly attachment' option if you go to
your new email message and click on the attach file button. A 'sheet'
will drop down that lets you pick the file and there is a little check
box at the bottom to turn this feature on. You don't really see this
option of you drag and drop to add your attachments.

Also, I have seen some AOL people have trouble with multiple
attachments. To avoid this, just put all the files you want to send
into an archive of some kind (e.g. Stuffit or Zip). In panther this is
easily done with the contextual menu (that's the one that pops up with
a control click or a right click) or with the action menu (that's the
one in the finder under the gear icon). Just put all your files in a
folder, then control click on the folder and select "Create archive of
xxx" where xxx will be the folder's name.

If you still have trouble with all of this you might consider using the
chat programs to transfer files directly (the AOL person will need the
AOL chat application - they can't use the chat abilities that are built
into the AOL software).

Good luck,
Bailey
