Just an aside: ElGato has just introduced a new video product that does  
BOTH HD and SD video tuning and recording. ElGato is a highly regarded  
developer and I'm watching this product closely.

I also learned that Vidi, the software that actually allows the Formac  
Studio TVR to operate as advertised, has been revved to support the  
newer firmware in the TVR. Formerly, it wouldn't run on new TVR's. It's  
a must see as the Formac software is the worst job of coding I've ever  
seen!
