So, were you pleased with the announcements?
If you haven't seen it, http://stream.apple.akadns.net/ is where all
the good news is to be found. The stream is 1.5 hours, but well worth
the watch. The stream is quite watchable at full-screen with MP4
encoding, however once H.264 comes of age in QT next year... Ahhhh.
Heaven!
I'm intrigued by the actual GIU enhancements in Tiger that make it hard
for people NOT to see and find what they're looking for. There's also
so much "LaunchBar" type text searching for things in Tiger. I'm really
getting into text-based app opening and so on. It really becomes 2nd
nature and hard to live without when gone.
I wouldn't expect much at this summer's Macworld. That's probably why
it's all coming out now, a little bit each week.
