My results with MediCom agree with yours. It would be hard to 
improve. The following is my understanding and could be wrong. The 
potential problem is that the more subscribers in the area the more 
potential there is for slowdowns. Unless you have a firewall I 
believe you have a possibility of others on the line sharing your 
computer files. DSL is essentially an ethernet connection. The 
biggest problem here is that the further you are from the telephone 
exchange the slower the service is.

I choose cable because it was available before DSL was. The biggest 
difference there is seems to be the ISP.
