[DM-MUG] Mediacom or DSL in DSM

I've had clients with both and both have their bad days. If you've
already got cable and like it (uptime and service) you'll probably be
okay with broadband over cable. If you want to run a business and are
considering a static IP, Des Moines is a great place. Static IPs,
through local providers, seem to be very affordable. I've got two for
$30/month total. I'm not including the line costs (you have to pay for
the ISP and the line from Qwest) but they match up pretty closely with
Mediacom's prices. One plus with DSL, you get to choose from a variety
of ISPs.
