A company called Raritan has been making KVMs that do multi-platform
switching for years. I have 2 of their 4-port and 1 8-port
MasterConsole II switches at work connected to PCs, UNIX servers, and a
G4.
The models we have don't directly come with support for USB connections,
but they sell "interface converters" that do. We've had no problems
with the USB dongle we bought.
The only problem with Raritan is that they are not on the cheap side.
They might be worth checking out, but don't hope for much if you're
budget is tight.
