[DM-MUG] Son to College, Need a A Mac

Good Morning All,

My son will be a Freshman at UNI this Fall and we are shopping for a
computer and printer for his dorm room.  Any advice for a Dad who would like
to get the most Mac bang for his teacher buck? (best value, service record,
stability, new or used, etc.)

Our gear at home is a G4 with a HP DeskJet 970Cxi.  We have been very happy
with both.

My son will be a Communications major with a minor in Journalism.

Thanks for any input you may offer.  I value your opinions.
