Don,
I don't like to reply to my own messages but I was just in Mactopia
about something else and in the VPC support center I found an article
"Cannot Connect to the Internet from a Virtual Machine". There are a
couple of other things but the basic one is that "Shared Networking"
must be turned on. I think this can help.
