All I wanted to do is just put them back to Hidden.
I know they can be made to not display, but I can't find the command
to hide them.
Some how I am displaying " Hidden files "

I often do a search (right click on Start menu, click on "Search") for
.DS_Store and WinXP remembers that search every subsequent time I go
in there so that I only have to type a period, and the rest pops up
and I just have to hit enter. Then from the search results, I click
the first one and do a Control+A to highlight all, and then hit the
delete key to get rid of them.
In OS 10.3, they're automatically hidden, but I'm guessing you know
that already.

I know that the .DS_Store file is a hidden file. So how do I keep it
Hidden?
