Chris,

To disable the Expos=E9 blob, go to Terminal and type the following=20
command:

% defaults write com.apple.dock wvous-floater -bool true

If you want to turn it back on, just change the last word to false.

I'm done with it, so it hasn't been restarted in quite some time. After=20=

rebooting, the sound was back, but I now have a new feature - a=20
floating Expose button. It's round, blue, translucent when the mouse=20
isn't over it, and floats above everything else. Clicking on it does an=20=

Expose F10. Option-Clicking does an F9.

Where the heck did this thing come from? I kinda like it, but it bugs=20
me that it just appeared.

Thanks,
Chris
