hope that doesn't happen.

mitigating any chance of a big boom in sales to migrators is the fact 
that most folks just don't want to be bothered by the effort to learn 
anything new.  concerns about compatibility will remain (i've learned 
with Word that having any graphics in a document decreases the chances 
for smooth transfer across platforms).  i WOULD look for sales to 
increase among the faithful - families might find it affordable to 
provide the kids with their own systems, for example.
