Hey Jon!

My wife has a Sony Clie, which is a palm variant.  The only problem is 
that it requires a piece of $30 shareware to work with the Mac.  Any of 
the Palm OS-based devices will work great with your setup.  While there 
are solutions to make Pocket PC-based devices work with a Mac, I would 
not suggest going that route.

The tungsten E is a nice one.  While I have not used it directly, I 
have no doubt that it will work well for your needs.
