If the computer running OS X 10.2 dials out and is configured for internet
sharing, I guess it would be possible. You'd have to go to the Sharing
preference pane and select the internet tab. You would then configure to
share the internet connection through the Ethernet interface. I would
imagine then if you were dialled in, the other computer running OS 8
connected through the crossover cable would then get an IP address from the
OS X Mac and be able to surf the internet. I imagine it would be very slow
though. My description leaves out some configuration, but if you are
interested, we can talk more.
