Looks like the pricing will be about the same deal for 10.3 as it was=20
for 10.2.

	$129 =3D 1 seat
	$199 =3D 5 seat "family pack"
	$ 69 =3D Education
	$ 20 =3D For any buyer of a G5 - or any machine purchased after =
today.

Obviously once it ships it'll be bundled on new macs.

Makes me almost glad my boss has delayed me this long on ordering a 17"=20=

Powerbook. ;-)

$129 close to once a year is starting to get a bit trying, but the=20
numbering on these is getting increasingly inaccurate, since each of=20
these charged-for upgrades are really more like x.0 (big number)=20
upgrades than .x upgrades. (once again they're touting 150 new=20
features). Another point I've seen discussed that I find interesting is=20=

that they don't actually sell upgrades per-say they sell a full new OS=20=

package. You could install it on bare metal (no previous install) and=20
conceivably sell, or re-use the earlier versions (maybe to those beige=20=

G3 owners who will be left out of the Panther Party) =46rom what I've=20
been hearing (and seeing) the performance is also improved again=20
(though maybe not as dramatically as w/Jaguar) and may be worth it from=20=

that standpoint alone. Also, iChat AV will be free w/ Panther, but will=20=

be $30 separately for Jag users.

<chuckle> you might consider a different .sig for email lists, I always=20=

find those to be downright silly on a broadcast list. I really hope you=20=

don't plan on discussing client work product on a public list ;-)
