[DM-MUG] Is there a way to hold opened things in the centre
of display?

If it's what I think you want to do, you will have it when 10.3, AKA
Panther, comes out. It's called Expos=E9 and it's part of the OS. I sometimes
use it to keep things organised, but I find it quite a pain at times when I
hit the F keys by accident because of my ham fisted typing.
