Hi Victoria
I don't have OS X and I don't know what a Cinema Display is, but
software programs usually open in what the developer perceives as being
center screen. If the program makes documents, then new documents also
usually open center screen. But, if you make any changes, the document
records them and opens the same way it was previously closed. If you
want documents to always open center screen, then I believe you have two
choices. Don't move a new document, or manually place it in the center
of the screen before closing it. If the Cinema Display has a different
setup than regular??? screens, you may have no choice but to manually
place it, then close it. It should then open where you placed it.
Hope this helps
