I was trying to find a past article from the iCringely website (http://www.pbs.org/cringely) that was really good about why IT Departments are so loyal to Microsoft PCs but I couldn't locate it. What I remember from it was that he summed it up to job security. I sure wish I could locate that article because it explained what I was seeing with the Des Moines Public School's IT department to a T.
