When I was in High School, we weren't allowed to use calculators. We had to
do square roots long hand and know our multiplication tables as well.
There's nothing wrong with that. If you really want to see what generation
someone is from, use the term clockwise or counter clockwise. With the use
of digital clocks, some people don't know what it means.
