I wouldn't hold my breath on that Pecl extension working.  Last release was
Jan 2008.  You might try asking the php window developers in IRC on
irc.freenode.net in #php-win.  That or trying contact the author directly.

Are you doing actual asynchronous programming with MQ Series or using it to
simply access mainframe data.  If you it is the latter, we get around the
use of MQ by having our mainframe developers expose methods to us via web
services.  Good thing is it removes need for MQ, bad thing is it means you
are likely dependent on another person to do the mainframe web service.
