Thanks in advance Carl for presenting! I actually hope I'm able to make
it, I'd like see both Symphony and Propel in action as you've used it.

I'm using Propel with a CMS to make forms inside the CMS pages. The CMS will not allow Symfony to have complete control of the pages, so I'm using Symfony as a back end application for the administration of the forms (displaying and editing the data collected in the forms). Propel works the same on both ends, but I can also show how easy Symfony makes it to create a back end application for administering the data once it has been collected.

It stores the user content as XML and then generates pages that get published out to a web server (again on Solaris), which then allows us to insert PHP code into the pages after they have been generated (mostly by using includes - it just makes it easier to update the PHP code without regenerating the pages in the CMS).
