[ciapug] Hello...and what time is Monday's meeting?

Hello!

I'm new to this mailing list.  I joined because I want to learn more  
about PHP (my last web development work that involved programming  
languages was using Perl to create some CGI-BIN code, back in 1998 on  
a Digital Unix box, plus a little JavaScript on one or two of pages  
for validation and/or graphical special effects).

I'm looking at PHP because I will be using it to work on the two web  
sites run by a local organization soon.  I'm doing that because (a)  
it needs to be done and (b) to get some recent web development  
experience I can point to, since I am also looking for a job. I was  
recently laid off after 9 years at Standard & Poor's Fund Services in  
Urbandale, when they were sold to their competitor Morningstar (who  
promptly shut us down.)

I want to start attending your meetings....but I'm a bit confused  
about the time and location of your next meeting.

I see from recent messages on this mailing list that your next  
meeting is tomorrow (Monday, Oct 1st) at Captain Jack's in Ankeny,  
yet the CIAPUG web site says your October meeting is Wednesday Oct  
4th at Borders.

October 4th is a Thursday, not a Wednesday this year so I'm guessing  
maybe that's for last October, which WAS a Wednesday (there are no  
years listed in the meeting dates.)

Also, the meeting times listed on the web site seem to move about  
(due to meeting locations varying, I assume).  Some are at 6:00, some  
at 6:30, some at 7:00.

So....help!  When and where are the meeting, exactly?   I'll assume  
6:00 pm on October 1st, 2007 @ Captain Jack's Communications in  
Ankeny unless corrected.
