Hope you don't mind a followup, but one last question:

4) Do you rely on one super-duper machine for serving up PHP, or do you
run a cluster and have some sort of IP sprayer in front?
4a) If you run a sprayer, what are you using (software)?

Thanks,
Daniel Juliano

There are several hundred thousand gforge users worldwide, and we use
postgres. I've been using the PHP Accelerator for several years, but
it's not updated for 5.0 yet.
